Surfari del Mar private sailing snorkling tours

We got wind of Captain Jack and 'Surfari' when looking for a family treat for the end of our 2 week stay in Costa Rica via Tripadvisor. Took the plunge on basis of reviews and what a trip it proved to be! Spent a few hours cruising up the coast to a secluded cove spotting whales, pods of dolphins and turtles on the way, took in something snorkelling (the best we'd seen in Costa Rica,) tucked into some delicious guacamole and then spent a couple of hours sailing fair winds and basked in sunshine as thunderstorms rumbled over the mainland. 

Jack tailored the trip perfectly to our needs and our 8 and 6 year old daughters both loved it. On the way back in saw one of the catamaran boats the hotels promote full of slightly bored looking tourists heading out on its engine as we raced passed with all the sails out with a lovely 42 foot sailing boat all ourselves! Very glad we decided to go the Surfari route and not with the crowds. Jack's prices were very competitive as well! Highly recommend if you are in the Potrero area as Jack can pretty much cater for anyone's needs with trips combining pretty much any combination of ocean adventure you require.
